Memberships

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be 18 years of age at the time of application.

• Must support the general purposes of the club

• Must be vetted before attending events.

• Must pay dues for Active Membership

Membership to The Parlour is open to adults (over 18) of any gender who:

• Promote the practice of Safe, Sane, and Consensual BDSM Activities and/or Risk Aware Consensual Kink activities.

• Are members of an alternative lifestyle, for example: leather, BDSM, polyamory, swinging, etc.

• Practices kindness and demonstrates actions that align with the acceptance of: diverse sexual orientation, diverse gender expression, diverse physical appearance, and diverse kink expressions.

Vetting

Folx may attend Dungeon 101 & Vetting for FREE, without a membership or a member host AND may attend Educational Workshops and Open Houses prior to being vetted.

Every Parlour Participant will be required to attend a Dungeon 101 & Vetting Event or schedule a Private Tour & Vetting with a Dungeon Moderator (IE Staff, Security, Host Dommes, official subs etc) to be eligible to attend any play parties, open dungeons, or social events.

NOTE - Folx may attend public educational workshops and Open Houses prior to being vetted.

What does it mean to be “vetted”?

1) You must register an account in our private booking system so we have your legal name, birthdate, emergency contact, and a signed Waiver.

2) You must go over basic safety and sign O/our etiquette guide with a DM.

3) You must choose to be either a Vetted Guest or Member and subsequent Membership Level.

4) You will be issued a custom “Vetted Guest” or “Membership” Card that displays your chosen name, details as you wish, and a unique participant number that correlates to your account. This card MUST BE PRESENTED to enter any events (other than educational workshops or Open Houses) at the Parlour. If you do not have your card with you, you will NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY regardless of ticket status. No refunds will be issued if you forget your card.

Why do we do this?

Because safety is one of our highest priorities. We want all participants to be able to attend events knowing that ALL participants have been instructed in basic safety and etiquette, have accountability, are empowered to say no, are over 18, and have emergency contact information on file.

Confidentiality

Being a Member of Vetted Guest of The Parlour is considered confidential.
Only current managers and owners have access to the membership records.

Registration Process

Go to our Booking page and in the upper right click memberships. Choose your desired level and follow the prompts. You must register an account in our private booking system so we have your legal name, birthdate, emergency contact, and a signed Waiver.

Next you will need to get vetted.

Dungeon Masters

All DMs have been selected based on their references from trusted BDSM community members, their positive community service, and/or credentials. All Parlour DMs will have a blue Dungeon Master Card for your reference and peace of mind. All DMs should show you their card before exercising authority. If someone attempts to exercise authority over you outside of a scene and they do NOT have a DM card, please alert staff immediately.

Enforcing Rules- We can only engage with behaviors on premises, and that occur during O/our events.

Official Warnings from Dungeons Moderators (IE Staff, Security, Host Dommes, official subs etc):

• 2 Warnings = Strike

• 1 Strike = 3mo Ban and Reassessment Interview

• 2 Strikes = 1 Year Ban, Reassessment Interview, Vouch by another member in good standing.

• 3 Strikes = Banned Forever

Each individual must complete an application and pay dues; there are no couples or other group memberships. The Parlour reserves the right to approve or deny all membership applications. ALL Memberships, Event Tickets and Workshop Bookings must be purchased online and cannot be purchased on premises at The Parlour.

Membership Cards

Membership cards are only distributed in person at The Parlour; cards are never mailed. Please bring a current government issued photo ID in order to pick up your card. We also recommend that individuals bring a copy of their email receipt (a digital copy is sufficient) in case additional verification is needed.

Membership FAQ

Do I have to be a member?
You must have an Active Membership or be a Vetted Guest Member of the club of to attend events at The Parlour other than Open Houses and Educational Workshops.

Can I join at the door?
No. We do not and can not sell tickets or memberships at the door to any events. Registrations and vetting for new Vetted Guests or Active Memberships must be filled out and completed in advance. Existing members may renew their memberships online.

How much are memberships, and how long are they good for?
Memberships are $29-$99 per person per month and include many perks, events and benefits. Membership credits are valid for 365 days as long as you are an active member. Any accumulated credits will be discharged 30 days after ending your membership. You may cancel at any time.

Do you have couples or group memberships?
No. Each individual must have their own membership, and will be assigned a unique membership ID number. That being said, Active members may book additional spots for Vetted Guest Members.

Parlour memberships AND vetting MUST be obtained BEFORE you will be allowed into the club.

REFUND POLICY

All event sales are final and no refund will be issued. Memberships may be cancelled at any time. Membership credits can not be traded, transferred nor “cashed out”. Membership credits are valid for 365 days as long as you are an active member. Any accumulated credits will be discharged 30 days after ending your membership.
